Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA)
We are 100% believers in protecting not only our ideas but yours. We know there are unscrupulous companies and individuals that will not even blink an eye whilst stealing someone elses idea for their own monetary gain. We have had it done to us and now we try and protect as far as possible our inventions as well as yours.

We therefore have a solid Non-Disclosure Agreement that when you pitch your idea to our Panel of Experts, then you know that you are protected from us, even though we believe in the "handshake" but we know we must go further and therefore the NDA is important for both parties.

What is the purpose of a non-disclosure agreement?
An NDA is a legal agreement which defines information that the parties wish to protect from dissemination and outlines restrictions on use. NDAs are also valuable to protect the ability to patent an invention, something that can be compromised if a disclosure of the invention becomes public knowledge.

What happens if I break an NDA?
However, it could come with severe financial penalties. Violating an NDA leaves you open to lawsuits from your employer, and you could be required to pay financial damages and possibly associated legal costs. It's illegal to reveal trade secrets or sensitive company information to a competitor.

How long does a NDA last?
Typically, the standard use for NDAs ranges from one to five years. However, this all depends on the nature of the transaction or market conditions. As an employer or business owner, it's in your best interest to enforce an NDA for as long as possible.

What to do:
1. Download the NDA from here [Non-Disclosure Download]
2. Sign the NDA at the bottom of the document and innitial each page.
3. Attach it to an email with your name in the Subject line and email it to pitchus@watalot.com. Please provide all your contact details as well as in what industry field your idea is in, example: paper, plastic, metal, mobile application, etc.
